Fattoria della Aiola
Fattoria della Aiola is a small historic winery founded in 1934 by a renowned politician Giovanni Malagodi. The 27 ha of vineyards lie half in Castelnuovo Berardenga, half in Radda in Chianti. |The company is in process of planting 4 more ha of new vineyards. The vineyards enjoy varied exposure (SE, E, SW, NW) and altitudes of 280 -450 m a.s.l. All harvesting is done manually. Production facilities were completely renovated in 2013. Annual production exceeds 120,000 bottles : Chianti Classico, 3 red Toscana IGT, a still and a sparkling Rose, brandy and grappa from own pomace.
