Fattoria di Lamole
The Fattoria of Lamole is a Historical Farm founded in 1870 by Giovanni Socci (Family living in Lamole from 1071) In the 30's of the 900's was under the hands of Carlo with collaboration of Livio Piccini, brillantely self-learned, the goal of Fattoria di Lamole was to blend modern scienticfic contributions with native know how searching the best rootstock eligible to save the old vine genoma of Lamole. In the last 20yrs the mission of the Farms was to recover the old dry stone terraced vineyards, sapling vines and ancient clones of Sangioveto di Lamole.
