Passion for wine has always accompanied the history of Carissimo family that run in the wine business from four generations. Guido Carissimo, arrived in Tuscany at the end of Nineties, and enchanting from the amazing valley of Terzona decided to start his new adventure here, in the heart of Chianti Classico. He bought Carus Vini estate in 2011 with the aim to give the best interpretation of Tuscan terroir and Chianti Classico in particular. His first harvest has been in 2012. The most important goal of Guido is to reduce impact on environment creating harmony between agricutlure and nature.
