Founded by 17 Tuscan vinegrowers in 1961 in Gaiole in Chianti, It is one of the oldest wine cooperative in Tuscany that today has 60 associated growers. It was recently acquired by Tenute Piccini, who chose the well-known consultant oenologist Riccardo Cotarella for this important project, supported by the young and talented Tuscan oenologist Alessandro Barabesi, who leads the technical team of the winery. From an oenological point of view, the project focuses on the historical denominations of the Sienese area especially on Chianti Classico
