Description

Vignole is a 21 hectares (52 acres) wine estate located in the Pesa river valley in Panzano in Chianti, the real heart of the Chianti Classico production area, just between Florence and Siena. Vignole is property of the Nistri Family since 1970. Today the total surface of the cultivation covers 11,5 hectares. The vineyards lay on two slopes of a small hill and are oriented to SE and SW, at an average altitude of 300 meters above the sea level. The hill where the vineyards are located is part of the famous “Golden Valley” where, in the deep, the Pesa river is flowing.
