Most of operations in the vineyard are run following the principles of Agriqualità. The Agriqualità trademark was registered by the Tuscany Region in order to identify those companies that, in our case, adopt integrated techniques for the defense and cultivation of vegetable crops (eg vineyards and arable crops). The objective of these techniques, defined by the Region of Tuscany through regulations for each crop, is to reduce the impact of anthropic activities on the environment and protect the natural space. Specifically, integrated agriculture takes concrete form in the following agricultural areas: • Soil tillage: the specification obliges not to enter the field at certain times of the year and to adopt specific tillage in order to reduce soil erosion • Defense and weeding of crops: the farmer who adheres to the Agriqualità brand must reduce the quantity of product to be distributed per hectare, compared to conventional agriculture
