Partnership Agreement between Chianti Classico and Champagne

On December, 16, 2016 a partnership agreement between Consorzio Chianti Classico and Comité Champagne has been signed to create a cooperation in sharing the experiences in managing the respective governances, legally protecting the designations of origin in non-EU countries, in tourism development policies, and in promoting the appellations’ heritage, as well as an open dialogue regarding winemaking and winegrowing matters.

As well as Chianti Classico, Champagne is a member of the Wine Origins Alliance, that brings together more than twenty appellations around the world.
